Paro Tshechu or Paro Festival is one of the most popular, biggest & important Buddhist religious dances festival in Bhutan. It is held annually for 5 days from 10th-15th day of 2nd month of Buddhist lunar calendar since 17th Century. Tshechu was introduce by Tenzin Rabgay in 1678 & initiated by Ponpo Rinzin Nyingpo.
