Paro Tshechu or Paro Festival is one of the most popular, biggest & important Buddhist religious dances festival in Bhutan. It is held annually for 5 days from 10th-15th day of 2nd month of Buddhist lunar calendar since 17th Century. Tshechu was introduce by Tenzin Rabgay in 1678 & initiated by Ponpo Rinzin Nyingpo.

  • Bhutan visa is pre-process by our company.  Scaned copy of your passport has to be send to us. Processing Bhutan visa will take upto 7 days at the max.

During the festival, trained priest & laymen will wear different types of mask and costumes and performs amazing different types of mask dance. On last day of the festival, i.e. on 15th day before the sun ray hit the ground, a great sacred throndrel banner thangka (measuring 20*20 meters) depicting the 8 Manifestation of Guru Padmasambhava is displayed to public.
